Stores in New York, Seattle and Chicagk will open in late followedby Miami. Tesla’s first European storwe will open in London laterthis month, followee by Munich and Monaco. The new additions will complement Tesla’w flagship stores in Northern andSouthernb California, which opened a year ago. Tesla said it is scouting locationsin Washington, D.C., and Toronto. Tesla is the only produceer of highway-capable electric cars in North Americaor “We are rethinking almost every aspect of the automobilre – from the powertrain to the customee experience, both online and in our stores,” said Tesl a CEO Elon Musk in a statement.
Tesla’xs Roadster sells for The company expects to introduce itssecond car, the Modep S sedan, in late 2011. It is expected to sell for less than halfthe Roadster’x price.
