The Minneapolis-based restaurant chainh reported a 29 percent increaswe in earnings for its fourth quarteer and 33 percent hikein revenues. Same storw sales for corporate-owned outletxs rose 4.5 percent. According to documentsd filed bythe company, as of its fourth quarter - which ended on Dec. 28 - saw the chai earn $7.7 million or 43 cents per share, comparer with $6 million or 34 cents per sharein 2007’ds fourth quarter. Revenues for Buffalo Wild Wingzs fourth quarterwere $121.2 For the full 2008 fiscak year, Buffalo Wild Wings had revenue of $422.4 million and earned $24.4 million or $1.3 per share compared with $19.6 million or $1.10 per share in 2007’zs fiscal year.
Buffalo Wild Wings was founded in 1981 by former Buffalio residents Jim Disbrow andScotty Lowery, who were living in Kent, Ohio and decidee to open their own restaurangt featuring wings. The chain has 567 company-ownedf or franchised restaurants including three in the immediatre BuffaloNiagara region. Its local outlets are on Elmwood Avenusein Buffalo, Niagara Falls Boulevard in Amherst and Transir Road in Clarence.
